What's Up With Temporal?

Deborah is incognito. Johnny is at home and the Shaman (Neil) is getting booted from his server (War Craft). The server just shut down on him, haha. He is on the phone trying to talk Richard into joining his guild. The Shaman has informed Richard that "resistance is futile and he WILL be assimulate." Along with threats, the Shaman is singing an old Motown song to Richard-"reunited and it feels so good". Me? I am getting ill listening to this.

Over the weekend, we mixed down the final version of Rain. The version that was on the player was a live recording done back in May, 2008. After much death and destruction, I think we all agree on the mixdown.

Johnny is recuperating from an injury. We wish the drummer dude a quick recovery and hope to see him this weekend.

We will talk/write at you later, probably this weekend.

Until next time,
Goodbye from the Farm,

Now What??

Neil was scratching his ass and threw his back out. AGAIN!!! How will he EVER raid the Black Temple with his back out??? Neil is a Shaman (War Craft). Deborah has no sympathy. She tells him, "Shaman, heal thy self." Neil says he can't because he's melee speck. Deborah says, "Whatever."

So what does this all mean? It means no practice. TEMPORAL has a crooked shaman (bass player) and gas-crunched drummer but we do have three half completed songs. Again Deborah says, "Whatever" She is in a "whatever" mood today.

Neil wants to put out an ad for all needy women who need someone to babysit and change diapers. He needs his diaper changed along with his hot water bottle. He says he feels as feeble as a 90 year old man and he wants hot chicken soup. So anyone out there who wants to read Neil bedtime stories and feed him hot chicken soup, please submit your resume to Neil.

Neil says goodbye from the land of the lost and hopefully he will find his way back to make another terrible blog. We wish the feeble Shaman well.

And from the rest of us,
Goodbye from the farm,
Until next time

Whatever

What Happened to the Blog???????????

We removed some of the blogs this week. We are at a loss for words. Our intentions were not to hurt people but to have fun. We are making a public apology to whiny drummers everywhere. We are humbling ourselves to all you whiny drummers out there. We don't want you to get your feelings hurt. All for fun, just clowning around.

Neil is moving to Tibet to search his soul. He wants to know why his Dojo is using him for a punching bag. Richard says if he would be nice and not write nasty shit about drummers, his soul would turn white instead of the sooty black like it is now. May that heathen repent. What does Deborah say? They're a bunch of bitches.

We are having hardware issues this week. Makes us think "upgrade" is a misnomer. We are sitting here waiting for more upgrades to upgrade the upgrades and hopefully we will be upgraded and not have to declare Chapter 13 on P23, haha. Just joking. For all the upgrades out there, we do not mean to offend any upgrades.

Inoffensively yours,
Humbly so,
We are the dirt beneath your feet,

Good bye from the farm,

Hugh Progress Weekend

We discovered new things about our studio. It was like searching for a treasure. It has brought our sound to a new level. It was like finding El Dorado's gold. When you work as a team and you let everyone use their talents, the results are fantastic.
We have a whole bunch of new knobs to play with.

We got the drummer dude in to record and got another song ready to put together. We will be doing that all week. Another week of no sleep, fun and games and no sleep but it is well worth it.

We are happy to report Bruised Lee can now scratch his ass but with his other hand. Johnny thinks we are bad asses and when you put a bunch of bad asses together, you can't help but have bad ass results.

We just uploaded Desert to the website. We hope you guys like it. If you get a chance give it a listen. This song was completed before we found our new treasure chest of knobs.

Our wayward guitar player, Deborah, is back and just in time to put some leads to our new rhythm tracks.

Thank you to all of who visit us and to our new friends.

Until next time,
Good bye from the farm

Labor Day Weekend

Hello from the Farm!

We worked two weeks on the Desert. We're gonna to have to trash it. Drum overtones messed us up. Damn them overtones!! But we have found a way to slay the overtones!! It still sucks!!

So what's going on with the band? Neil, aka Bruised Lee, has taken up Karate. He now works part-time as a punching bag for the local Karate shop. He hurt his bobo. Poor Neil. He can't play because he hurt his bobo. He also bent over to scratch his ass and threw out his back. Bruised Lee is in a world of hurt.

So practice is off. Richard is in Protass fighting monsters and demons and loosing his ass. If you see our wayward guitar player/singer, Deborah--send her home to Oklahoma. Johnny is incognito.

We uploaded Spaces. This makes the seventh remix. We named it Spaces Remix 7. Seven from heven. So far everyone is happy with the remix but that could change.

Everyone have a happy and safe Labor Day holiday. Drop us line, join us as a friend and THANK YOU!!!! to everyone who visits us..

PS. Neil says you can contribute to the band by sending Doritos, bean dip and guacomole. Neil says if you REALLY LOVE HIM send cheese dip and chicken tits.

Until next time,
Good Bye from the Farm

Conference Call

Sunday Afternoon

Hello!!

It's a beautiful Sunday afternoon on the front porch in a band conference call with the sound of gunfire in the background. You just couldn't ask for a more peaceful day! Actually, we have a couple of neighbors who do target practice on the weekends. Learning to duck on the weekends is a good skill to learn when you're out at the Farm

This week the day-job won, Neil was a no-show. He had to work Saturday night, Johnny went to visit his godchild, Richard chilled and Deborah took apart the video camera to see how it works. I am happy to report it still works despite Deborah's best efforts.

Neil has agreed to do a video. We can only shoot nostril hairs and eyeballs. Richard loves the camera? Richard replies, "No, the camera loves me." HAHA! I see we will have no trouble shooting him. Johnny has no opinion on the camera because we have not told him yet. First video will be Neil's nostril hairs, Deborah's guitar stock, Richard in all his glory and Johnny on the drums. It should be very entertaining.

As you can see, we have absolutely nothing to say because absolutely nothing happened. Future gigs, hopefully 2 in a couple of months. Main concern is recording the 14 songs we have completed. In the next two weeks we want to rework Rain and get our songs "Desert" and "Nemesis" along with video out on the web.

Well until next time, visit often and become our friend on our myspace page and our fan on our iLike page. We always have room for one more.

Until next time,

Good bye from the Farm.

Meltdown

While setting up our recording session Saturday the main computer bit the dust. It was lots of fun blaming each other. We were really looking forward to getting some recording down but it was better it messed up before all that work. Deborah and Neil were able to get the hard drive replaced. Deborah worked most of the night reinstalling and restoring the computer. Final word, it was Richard's fault. Why? Because.

Since we weren't going to get any recording done, we decided to drink Tequila, watch YouTube videos all night and bitch about not getting any recording down. We had to watch Dishwalla five hundred times because Deborah thinks he has the prettiest voice. There was Charlie Brown and his damn parents, Above the Wreckage over and over and over and over and over. It seems Geoff Tate has been replaced, for now. Neil was getting down on some Iron Maiden and Rob Halford vocals. He did a fine job wailing, we must agree. We were able to find videos from bands we hadn't seen in years. YouTube is the bomb.

Plans for this week

We want to get a couple of songs out this week now that the computer is rocking. We will pick up were we left of on the recording session, minus the Tequila. It was some good Tequila. There's nothing like genuine, authentic Mexican tequila-Sauza.

Until next time, good bye from the farm.
